Pork with fig sauce

 

Buffalo wings

  • 1 KG PORK for roasting
  • 100 GRAM FIGS, sliced
  • 2 ONIONS, sliced
  • 2 CLOVES GARLIC, chopped
  • 1 CUP BROTH
  • 1 CUP PORTO WINE
  • HANDFUL THYME, chopped
  • 60 GRAM BUTTER
  • 4 TBSP CREAM
 
  • 1 KG CHICKEN WINGS
  • 75 GRAM BUTTER, melted
  • 1 TSP TABASCO
  • 1 TBSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
  • 1 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER
  • 2 TBSP VINEGAR

Bake the pork brown on all sides in the butter. Put it in an oven dish and stir fry the onion and the garlic for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, stir well on pour over the pork. Cover with aluminum foil and bake one hour in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Take off the foil and bake 15 minutes more. Wait 10 minutes, then slice the meat and serve with the sauce.

Mix butter, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper and vinegar and marinate the chicken wings 6 hours. Put them in an oven dish and bake 40 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Nice with kick ass sauce.
