Spaghetti with broccoli

 

Liver paté

  • 500 GRAM SPAGHETTI, home made or bought
  • 300 GRAM BROCCOLI, in pieces
  • 1 CAN ANCHOVIES, cut
  • 2 RED CHILI PEPPERS, chopped
  • 50 GRAM CHEESE, grated
  • OLIVE OIL
 
  • 500 GRAM PORK LIVER, in large cubes
  • 500 GRAM BACON, in cubes
  • 500 GRAM PORK, in large cubes
  • 1 TSP SALT
  • 1 TSP ALLSPICE
  • HANDFUL THYME
  • 2 EGGS
  • 1/2 CUP BREADCRUMBS
  • 1 TBSP BLACK PEPPERCORNS
  • 1/2 ONION, sliced

Cook the spaghetti al dente. Stir fry the pepper 3 minutes in olive oil, add the anchovies and stir fry one minute more. Cook the broccoli 5 minutes. Drain the spaghetti and mix with the broccoli and pepper-anchovies mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.

Put the liver, bacon, pork, salt, allspice, thyme, eggs, breadcrumbs and peppercorns in a food processor and puree the mixture. Put it in a special form or a greased cake tin and distribute the onion slices on top. Bake one and a half our in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius. Allow to cool down completely. Serve with French bread or any other kind of bread and a salad.
