Rhubarb jam

 

Strawberry pepper jam

  • 500 GRAM RHUBARB, cleaned and cut
  • 400 GRAM SUGAR
  • 100 GRAM DATES, chopped
 
  • 1 KG STRAWBERRIES
  • 750 GRAM SUGAR
  • 2 TBSP ACETO BALSAMICO
  • 1 TSP FRESH MILLED PEPPER

Bring the rhubarb and the dates to the boil with half a cup of water and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the sugar and simmer 5 minutes more. Pour the jam in glass jars.

Add 2 tablespoons water and the sugar to the strawberries, and bring to the boil. Cook on middle high heat for half an hour, stir regularly. Add the vinegar and the pepper. Put the jam in glass jars.
