Blueberry bread

Almond bread

  • 500 GRAM FLOUR
  • 100 GRAM BUTTER, melted
  • 1/2 CUP SUGAR
  • 1 EGG
  • 1 CUP MILK
  • 1 TSP YEAST
  • 1 TSP SALT
  • 500 GRAM BLUEBERRIES

  • 300 GRAM WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
  • 50 GRAM OATMEAL FLAKES
  • 6 TBSP BROWN SUGAR
  • 1/2 TBSP BAKING POWDER
  • 450 GRAM DRIED CRANBERRIES
  • 50 GRAM MIXED DRIED FRUITS, cut
  • 75 GRAM ALMONDS, chopped
  • 1 EGG
  • 1 1/2 CUP MILK
  • 1/2 TSP SALT

Mix flour, yeast, sugar, milk, egg, salt and half of the butter and knead well for 10 minutes. Allow the dough to rise one hour and line a greased baking tray with it. Brush the top with the remaining butter and distribute the berries over the bread. Allow the bread to rise half an hour more. Bake the bread half an hour at 200 degrees Celsius.

Put all ingredients together and beat a few minutes until all is thoroughly mixed. Put the batter in a greased bread pan and bake the bread 45 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius. Delicious when eaten hot with real butter.
