Coffee cinnamon ice cream

 

Pear semifreddo

  • 1 CUP CREAM
  • 1 CUP ESPRESSO
  • 80 GRAM SUGAR
  • 1 TBSP CINNAMON
 
  • 3 PEARS
  • 1/2 CUP CREAM
  • 3 TBSP HONEY
  • 2 EGG WHITES, beaten
  • 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
 

Dissolve the sugar in the hot coffee; allow it to cool down, stir all the ingredients together. Put in the freezer for 3 hours, stir every half hour. Then leave in the freezer for one more hour. Serve with a liquor like Bailey's or Amarula.

Puree the pears, cottage cheese, lemon juice, cream and honey in a food processor. Stir in the egg whites. Freeze for 2 hours until half frozen.
