Apple mint jam

 

Chocolate chili truffles

  • 1 KG APPLES, peeled, cored and cubed
  • 1 KG SUGAR
  • HANDFUL MIN, chopped
 
  • 200 GRAM CHOCOLATE
  • 100 GRAM BUTTER
  • 1/2 CUP CREAM
  • 4 TBSP CACAO POWDER
  • 2 RED CHILIES

Bring the apples to the boil with 1/2 cup of water simmer for 15 minutes; puree this mass. Add the sugar and cook 15 minutes more, while stirring, on medium high heat. Add the mint and stir. Pour the jam in glass jars.

Cut the chilies length wise and bake them in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Discard the seeds and scrape the inside of the chili off the peel. Melt the chocolate with the butter, the cream and the inside of the chili pepper in the microwave, stir well and refrigerate for 3 hours. Form small balls and roll them in the cacao powder.
