Recipes with
smoked salmon
  Potted shrimps   Smoked salmon omelet
 
  • 500 GRAM SHRIMPS, shelled and cleaned
  • 100 GRAM CLARIFIED BUTTER
  • 1 TBSP ANCHOVIES PASTE
  • 1 TSP CAYENNE PEPPER
  • 1/2 TSP NUTMEG
  •  
  • 200 GRAM SMOKED SALMON, in strips
  • 1/2 CUP CREAM
  • 1/2 CUP MILK
  • 6 EGGS
  • SALT AND FRESH MILLED PEPPER
  • Mix the butter with the anchovies paste, the cayenne pepper and the nutmeg. Put the shrimps in an oven dish and pour the butter mixture over the shrimps. Bake the shrimps 25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Put the shrimps in small glass pots and pour the butter mixture on top. Heat the cream, add the smoked salmon and simmer for one minute. Add two egg yolks, and slowly heat until the mixture thickens. Beat together the other 4 eggs and the two remaining egg whites, the milk and salt to taste and bake two omelets out of those. When the omelets are almost done, spoon the salmon mixture on top and bake one Minute. Sprinkle pepper on top.
