Lemongrass ice tea

 

  Ginger ice tea

  • 4 STEMS OF LEMON GRASS, bruised
  • 6 TSP SUGAR
  • 1 LEMON, juice and rind
 
  • PIECE OF GINGERROOT (5 centimeter), chopped finely
  • 6 TBSP SUGAR
  • 2 TBSP BLACK TEA

Bring 1 liter of water to the boil and add the lemon grass, lemon juice and rind. Simmer for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and let it stand for 5 more minutes. Pour the tea through a sieve and dissolve the sugar in it. Put the tea in the fridge for a few hours. Serve with ice cubes.

Bring one liter water to the boil, add the ginger and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the tea and wait five minutes. Pour the tea through a sieve. Add the sugar, stir well and allow the tea to cool down completely in the fridge. Serve with ice cubes.
