Beacon Hill cookies

Double ginger cookies

Beat the egg whites with a drop of vinegar or lemon juice until fluffy. Slowly beat in the sugar and the vanilla sugar. Melt the chocolate, add the nuts and stir in the egg whites. Make little heaps on a greased oven tray and bake the cookies 10-12 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.

Beacon Hill is a 19th century neighborhood in Boston with a strong community feeling, which is probably the reason why they bake this kind of cookies.

Mix all ingredients and form small balls. Put these balls on a greased baking tray and flatten them. Bake the cookies 12 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.
