Amish friendship lemon bread

 

Pesto bread

  • 1 CUP AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD STARTER
  • 2 CUPS FLOUR
  • 1 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA
  • 3 EGGS
  • 1 LEMON, juice and rind
  • 1/2 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
  • 75 GRAM CUSTARD POWDER
  • 3 TBSP POPPY SEEDS
  • 1/2 CUP SUGAR
 
  • 2 CUPS FLOUR
  • 1 1/2 CUP MILK
  • 1/2 CUP BUTTER, MELTED
  • 2 EGGS
  • 100 GRAM CHEESE, grated
  • 1 BUNCH BASIL LEAVES, chopped
  • 1 TSP BAKING SODA
  • 1 TBSP PESTO
  • 1/2 TSP SALT
  • 2 CLOVES GARLIC, mashed

Put all ingredients together and add one deciliter water and some salt. Mix well. Pour the batter into a loaf pan, and bake 1 hour at 170 degrees Celsius.

Mix all the ingredients well together and pour the batter in a round tin. Bake the bread 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
