Potato salmon pie

 

Flemish cod

 
  • 500 GRAM POTATOES
  • 200 GRAM SMOKED SALMON
  • 1 ONION, chopped
  • 1/2 CUP SOUR CREAM
  • 2 EGGS
  • 4 TBSP BREAD CRUMBS
  • 50 GRAM BUTTER, cubed
  • HANDFUL DILL, chopped
 
  • 600 GRAM COD FILLET
  • 1 ONION, chopped
  • 1 LEMON, sliced
  • HANDFUL PARSLEY, chopped
  • 1 CUP WHITE WINE
  • 50 GRAM BUTTER, in cubes
  • 4 TBSP BREAD CRUMBS

Cook the potatoes 15 minutes and slice them. Put one third of the potato slices on the bottom of a greased oven dish. Put half of the salmon, and half of the onions on top. Repeat this process and end with a layer of potato slices. Mix the sour cream with the eggs and dill and pour this over the potatoes. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and distribute the butter evenly over the bread crumbs. Bake 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

The Worldcook has another delicous recipe combining potato and smoked salmon.

 

Put the onions on the bottom of a greased oven dish. Put the cod on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour the wine over the cod. Bake this in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Pour the fluid in a pan and reduce on high heat to half. Turn off the heat and add the butter, whisking all the time, piece by piece. Finally, add the bread crumbs and pour this sauce over the fish. Put the lemon on top and sprinkle with parsley.
