Mushroom pie

 

Alu Palak
(Potatoes with spinach)

  • 250 GRAM PUFF PASTRY
  • 200 GRAM MUSHROOMS, sliced
  • 4 GREEN ONIONS, chopped
  • 150 GRAM GOUDA CHEESE, in cubes
  • 1 DECILITER CREAM
 
  • 6 POTATOES. peeled, cooked and cut in cubes
  • 600 GRAM SPINACH, chopped
  • 1 ONION, chopped
  • GINGER ROOT, grated
  • 1 RED CHILI PEPPER, chopped
  • 1 DECILITER CREAM

Fry the onions and the chili pepper for 3 minutes, add the spinach and stir fry for 5 minutes more. Add the ginger and the cream, heat for a few minutes. Fry the potatoes for 5 minutes in a separate pan and stir them into the spinach mixture.
