The “Festa della Reppublica” is celebrated in Italy. On the 2 June 1946 in a referendum the monarchy was abolished and the fascism reign was replaced with a republic after 85 years.

26 June is Flag Day in Romania. A similar flag was first used by the revolutionaries in 1848. In 1866 it was confirmed by the Constitution. There have been many changes in the country, but the flag is still the same.
